I have a feeling we’ll see a lot more of the undiscovered areas of Topia in future books and I cannot wait. Not only do we get more information about the characters, but we meet more of the Gods of Topia, and more of the world of Topia itself. And honestly when we are talking about some of the Gods, sordid is probably the best descriptor. In this novel, our characters continue to grow, and this time we get to learn of their sordid histories. Persuasion came back to us and fulfilled all the promises the Trickery had laid at our feet. Which can be the only reason that I sat down at 10pm on a Monday (no less of a week where I will be spending several late/sleepless nights at the office) and decided reading until 2am was a good idea. ![]() Sometimes a book (or world) and it’s characters get into your blood.
